Privacy and Cookie Policy
The short version: you can read every page and use the sample questions with no account. If you take a full practice test or make an account, the details below are sent to our server and to our accounts service. We run no analytics and set no cookies.
1. What we collect
Without an account, nothing identifies you. The browser keeps a random anonymous ID so we can count the 1 full test allowed every 7 days.
Full practice tests are drawn and graded on our server. Your answers and scores for those tests are sent to our accounts service and stored against your anonymous ID or your account.
With an account: your email address, a password (stored hashed) or a login link, your plan and payment records, and your test attempts. We use them to run the account, enforce the weekly limits and take payment.
2. Who processes your data
Our accounts service at dashboard.raiserank.com.np runs logins, email confirmation, plans and test grading, and is our data processor. Payments are taken by Stripe, which keeps its own record of the customer and the card. We do not see your card number.
3. What is collected automatically
Nothing, by us. This site runs no analytics. There is no Google Analytics, no tag manager, no pixel and no third-party measurement script of any kind. We cannot see which pages you read or how long you stayed.
Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, including IP addresses, for security and diagnostics. That is theirs, not ours, and it happens for every site on the internet.
This is a deliberate choice and it may change. If we add analytics we will say so here first, and we will name the provider rather than describing it vaguely.
4. Cookies and browser storage
This site sets no cookies. Not for analytics, not for advertising, not for preferences. There is no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to.
The browser stores a random anonymous ID and, when you are logged in, a login token. Both are needed to run the service and to count your weekly tests. Short-lived tokens from email links are kept for the session only. Clear this site's data in your browser to remove them, which also logs you out.
5. Advertising and affiliate links
There is currently no advertising on this site and no affiliate links. Nothing here is monetised. No advertising partner sets cookies here, because there are no advertising partners.
If that changes, this section and the affiliate disclosure will say exactly what was added and when, before it goes live.
6. Third parties we rely on
Hosting, our accounts service and Stripe, as described above. We do not sell personal information.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data, and to object to certain processing. Write to [email protected].
You do not need to write to use the main ones. From the account page you can download everything we hold on you as a file and delete your account. Deleting removes your logins and stored data and anonymises the account. Plan and payment records stay for tax records, and Stripe keeps its own copy, which we remove on request. A subscription that renews must be cancelled before you delete.
8. Children
This site is aimed at adults pursuing a professional licence. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
9. Changes
Material changes will be reflected in the last reviewed date at the top of this page. Governing law: New South Wales, Australia.
